Aussie Au Pair Services was started in 2016 to help families source Au Pairs from all over the world to help fill their childcare needs in a cost effective and home based manner.
It was started by Sue Pember who has a passion for helping families and making a difference in the community.
The point of difference between our new Au Pair company and other companies out there is that we have a qualified European Case Manager/Social Worker with 2 years Au Pair experience who works as a liaison between the Au Pair and your family to ensure a happy and healthy working environment for all involved.
Our Case Manager will set guidelines and expectations so the Au Pair understands their duties and the host family know about limitations and both have a person to call on with any questions or queries that arise. Our Case Manager will also act as a support to the Au Pair if they feel overwhelmed or concerned about their situation.
We will also offer a social support network to the Au Pair so they have the opportunity to meet others in the same situation. Au Pair and Family inductions are facilitated on arrival and the ongoing support starts as soon as the Au Pair arrives with your family.
Aussie Au Pair Services also have a designated GP Emily MacDonald from Ellen Heath to be the Au Pairs contact if they have any health questions or concerns while in Australia.

Sue has an extensive background both in business and as host mum herself…
Background: More than 10 years’ experience in the business world. She is a successful entrepreneur that runs three well known businesses including: Mi Casa Property Boutique, Aussie Orientation Services and Aussie Au Pair Services. Sue’s past employment includes a position as the Business Development Manager for Apprentices Australia.
Sue Pember is an award winning business owner and has recently launched an Au Pair agency to bring Best Practice into an industry where regulation is greatly lacking and many working holiday makers and students are finding themselves taken advantage of.
Sue has hosted more than 10 Au Pairs over the last 5years and loves being able to offer them a fantastic cultural exchange as well as being able to enjoy the flexibility that have an Au Pair allows in her busy life.
Sue Pember is a passionate entrepreneur who has a knack for finding opportunities everywhere she looks. She is the founder of three companies; Aussie Orientation Services, Mi Casa Property Boutique and Aussie Au Pair Services. Aussie is an Australian owned and operated Global Mobility Consultancy Company that specialises in relocation programs, cultural training and ongoing support to provide workers and their families a smooth transition to Australia.
In 2013 Sue was awarded WA Today Female entrepreneur of the Year and recognised as one of the top 40 under 40, receiving the People's Choice award. She was also a WA region nominee for the coveted Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award. In 2015 Sue started Mi Casa Property Boutique - a successful residential sales and property management agency.
Sue is passionate about giving back to the community, and donates money to charity for every property sold or leased by Mi Casa. She is also sits on the Board of Parkerville Children & Youth Care. In 2016 Sue launched her third business Aussie Au Pair Services - a cost effective childcare solution, and was appointed WA Ambassador for the Female Entrepreneur organisation, Rare Birds.
With 10 years’ experience in a range or marketing, sales and industrial based industries, Corrie brings a strong organisational presence to the team.
Corrie is also a mum of a very energetic two year old and enjoys being able to balance the busy life of being a mum while also working. She was a also a nanny for 6years during her studies so is able to understand with experience the role as both a mother and also as a carer for their precious children. In addition to this Corrie worked as a camp counsellor for 2 years in America, so knows just how important a cultural exchange can be in someone’s personal development.
Corrie’s role at Aussie Au Pair services is sourcing Au Pairs and introducing them to our wonderful Au Pairs. She takes great pride in matching Au Pairs and Families and hearing about their successful placements.
Nicole is a qualified Case Manager as well as having the experience of being an Au Pair herself. Nicole has a very personable approach to her case manager style and provides very effective support to both the Host Families and Au Pairs.
Nicole is originally from the Netherlands and absolutely loves the experiences that she has enjoyed so far in Perth and Australia. She has been in Australia now for over 3 years and has been an Au Pair for more than 2 years. Currently she is undertaking a course in Australia to extend her knowledge and skills as Social Worker and Case Manager.
She loves spending time with children and being able to get to know them and be a part of their life. But her great passion is Social work, she has studied Social Work in the Netherlands where her main fields of study for the qualification were Educational Theory and Child Development (Pedagogy). Nicole has gained experience and knowledge during her studies in the form of internships and classes in the development and teaching of children in the age of 0 till 23 years old and their families. She uses this experience and knowledge in her current work as a Case Manager for our host families and Au Pairs.
Nicole is an approachable and supportive person and we are very grateful to have her as part of our team to provide ongoing support to both the Au Pairs and the Host Families and we know they appreciate everything she does as well.
