Au Pair wanted July 2018
A family of three living in Ardross, Perth is looking for their very first Au Pair to become part of the family. The mum and children are very excited about this and can’t wait to meet their Au Pair.
A lovely family in Ardross is looking for their very first Au Pair to join their family of three, the mum and her two children. The mum is recently divorces and the children spend most of their time with the mum. The children are very responsible and often help out around the house hold. The school of the children is within walking distance; however a driver’s licence is required for this position. For afterschool activities driving might be necessary. Being able to drive also gives you more opportunity to explore Perth and surroundings.
Reason for having an Au Pair
As single mum the mum found out how difficult it can be to manage everything with the children and work. The mums work tries to be flexible so that she can be there in the mornings and afternoons occasionally, but it is just not always possible. Therefor it seems like a great opportunity for the family to welcome an Au Pair into their home, to not just have the assistance of the Au Pair, but mainly to explore new cultures. With an Au Pair it also means that the children can go home after school and in general the household will be more relaxed.
With the children both going to school full time, you would mainly assist in the morning and late afternoon/early evening. The mum works five days a week and requires the Au Pair to help out on those weeks. You will have two days off per week, unless otherwise arranged with you to do some extra babysitting. Occasionally the mum will be away overnight for her work, in which she will plan with the Au Pair if the kids will be at home or if they are having playdates. The mum will make the time that she is away as easy as possible, however the children are very easy going and used to this so it won’t be difficult to look after them overnight.
The family lives in a really nice area of Perth, in Ardross. The house is within walking distance from a large shopping mall (Garden City), right next door to an amazing park (Wireless Hill) and public transport is just a couple of metres away from the house. Public transport will take you towards the city, towards Fremantle and towards the train, which gives you lots of options to get around with public transport.
The mum will be as accommodating as possible with the needs of the Au Pair as well. The mum will be flexible if the Au Pair would like to go on activities or even a few days away. The grandparents live close by and love spending time with the grand children which makes it possible for the mum to be flexible. In your free time you will be able to use the car, if the car is available and you are a solid driver. You are very welcome to join the family for activities in your free time. The children are looking forward to sharing their neighbourhood with an Au Pair and to learn something about the Au Pairs culture as well.
The family is looking for
The family would like to welcome a female Au Pair in to their home. Someone who is responsible, mature, self-sufficient, flexible, confident and someone who doesn’t mind cooking.
