Au Pair wanted Feb 2018
A warm and welcoming family in Piara Waters is looking for their very second Female Au Pair to become part of their family. The family has a multicultural background themselves and when growing up hosted students from around the world, so they understand what it is for someone to go to the other side of the world and become part of a new family with a different culture. They would love to share their culture with the Au Pair and would love to learn about the Au Pairs culture as well.
Piara Waters is a suburb in Perth that is a 15-minute drive from the beach and city centre of Perth. It’s a new area where there is still lots of development happening. Only recently a large shopping centre opened, and another primary school is opening. This means that there will be lots and lots of families in the areas. Most likely there will be other Au Pairs as well and definitely lots of play dates for the children.
The parents are looking of a new member of their family to help them look after their 2 year old, 5 year old and 11 year old. The 11 year old is only part time with the family. The children are independent and know exactly what they are allowed to do and what not, they will try though! The 11 year old is a really big help when she is at the house, she is looking forward to having a big sister to hang out with and to show her the ropes. The 2 year old may look very young, he’s small, but his talking is amazing and he will tell you what he wants or if something is going on. The 5 year old is a good big brother and loves spending time with his little brother.
A driver’s licence is necessary for this Au Pair positions. You would need to be able to drive the children to after school activities, the children’s school is walking distance, the day care is driving distance as well (the child care location might be changes).
All children are very energetic and it would be great if you could take them on outings to burn the energy. Therefor it is great if you as their Au Pair have lots of energy as well and would love to be active. The family is looking for someone with an outgoing personality, someone who will keep their children save and happy. Also, someone who is mature and responsible.
The parents are looking for someone to work 7 out of the 14 days, those are the days the parents are working. The parents work 12 hour shifts and leave early in the morning and return around 8pm. This means that the Au Pair would do the morning and evening routine with the children by herself. And has lots of fee time during the day because all of the children will be either at school or at daycare. And with only working 7 out of the 14 days there will be lots of time to explore Perth and surroundings (with a car for you to use).
